Union Flow

The word 'yoga' has many meanings, and one of them is 'union,' or, 'to yolk.' Let's explore this theme in this 60-minute class designed for all bodies.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
•centring practices
•breath work
•cross-body movements that synchronize both sides of the body and brain • opportunities for exploring strength, balance and flexibility
•a relaxation practice

WHAT TO BRING:
•comfy clothes that you can move in
•a safe place to practice such as a mat
•water to drink
•any props you want for the physical poses:
*blocks (can be replaced by books or a stool)
*pillow (can be replaced by a folded blanket or towel)
*strap (can be replaced by a scarf or belt)
•any props you'd like to bring for relaxation (blanket, sweater, socks, eye cushion)

Charity Class: Togetherness Flow

Yoga is an act of love for the self and for others. 100% of the proceeds from this class will go to Native Child and Family Services of Toronto. This call is pay-what-you-can.

CLASS INFO:
This 60-minute class is for all bodies. A variety of options will be given. Please feel free to bring any props you'd like to use.

"Native Child and Family Services of Toronto strives to provide a life of quality, well-being, caring and healing for children and families in the Toronto Native Community. We do this by creating a service model that is culture-based and respects the values of Native people, the extended family, and the right to self-determination."

They continue to provide services during the pandemic, such as:
•check-ins and concrete assistance to families
•increased financial assistance and resources for the foster & customary care community
•virtual health clinics
•virtual learning for children and youth
• serving expecting and recent community mothers and families

Freedom Flow Yoga Class

Moshe Dayan said, "Freedom is the oxygen of the soul." In this hatha-yin class, we will move in celebration of our freedom and hold space to let go. This class is for all bodies.

Start the class with steady movement to warm and work your muscles. End off with longer-held seated postures that support healthy fascia.

In addition to your yoga mat, please have*:

• 1 folded towel or blanket
• 2 blocks or 2 pillows
*If you don't have these items, please message me. There is always another solution that suits your needs

Yoga Meets Art Workshop

Wanna try something creative? Or bring balance to your mind and body? This event was made for you to have fun and play!

You’ll enjoy a flow of standing and seated yoga postures aimed at serving everyone, in all bodies. Heather McCarrol is an Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher (500-Hours) and brings a joyful approach to yoga.

After relaxing your body and mind, tap in to your crafty side with Monica Ricardo (Toronto-Columbian artist and all around beautiful soul) as she leads us through painting our own decorative wine bottles! Yours will make a fabulous gift for the holidays (or it might just find its permanent place in your own home)!

If you find art or yoga intimidating, you’re not alone. But, in this workshop, Monica and Heather will be cheering you on and sharing plenty of tips and tricks for enjoying the process. Come alone or bring some good buddies! This event is all about community, relaxation and fun.

In the process of taking care of ourselves, many of us have our go-to routine. For me, it’s my nightly skincare treatment. For you, it might be exercising, journalling, or walking your dog. But have you ever considered changing it up? Why would you want to change up your self-care routine? We’ll be covering that in this 40-minute online workshop. We’ll also talk about how to set yourself up for self-care splendor this Fall. Participants will receive a .PDF package containing journal prompts, activity ideas, and mantras, and questions for self-discovery.
